Blair Sellars appointed Principal at Chipewyan Lake School

Northland School Division (NSD) is delighted to announce the appointment of Blair Sellars as the Principal of Chipewyan Lake School, effective August 26, 2024. Mr. Sellars brings a wealth of experience to the role, having recently served as the Principal at Father R. Perin School in Janvier.
Blair has an extensive background in education within First Nations communities. For 10 years, he served as both Principal and Teacher at Chief Julian Yendo School in Wrigley, under the Dehcho Divisional Education Council of the Northwest Territories.
"Blair understands the context and our overarching goals at Northland School Division,” said Cal Johnson,” Superintendent of Schools/CEO. “His experience and expertise are valuable assets for supporting student success.”
Blair holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is an avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast.
