Kayla Marceniuk Appointed Father R. Perin School Principal

Northland School Division (NSD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kayla Marceniuk as Father R. Perin School Principal, effective August 26, 2024.
Marceniuk has been teaching for seven years, five of which have been at Father R. Perin School. During her time at the school, she has gained valuable experience serving as the acting principal.
"Kayla understands the context and our overarching goals at Northland School Division,” said Cal Johnson, Superintendent of Schools/CEO. “I am confident that under Kayla’s leadership, Father R. Perin School students will thrive while enjoying an engaging learning experience.”
In addition to her teaching and administrative roles, Marceniuk is an active community member. She sits on the Board of Sekweha as the Secretary, aiding in keeping the doors open. Her hobbies include cross-stitch, volunteering her time, and enjoying animation because she describes herself as a child at heart.
“I look forward to opening clear, honest lines of communication and bringing the community together to celebrate the accomplishments of our students,” said Marceniuk. “Thank you for making me a part of your community these last five years, let us all continue to grow together.”
Marceniuk holds a Bachelor of Arts from MacEwan University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary’s Werklund School of Education. She is always looking for opportunities to further her education.
