Scott Meunier appointed as Deputy Superintendent

Northland School Division (NSD) is pleased to announce that Scott Meunier has been appointed the Deputy Superintendent, effective immediately. Mr. Meunier, who has worked in education for over 20 years, originally joined NSD as an Associate Superintendent on August 1, 2021.
“Our nation-wide advertising resulted in a number of applications, “said Cal Johnson, Superintendent of Schools/CEO. “While reviewing applicants for this important position, Mr. Meunier checks a lot of boxes for what is needed to ensure Northland students are successful. He offers unique skill sets to assist with instructional design, relationship building and division-wide education planning and analysis. I feel very confident that Mr. Meunier is an excellent fit for this role.”

Mr. Meunier holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in sociology from the University of Regina, a Bachelor of Education degree with specializations in social studies and French also from the University of Regina and a Master of Education in Open, Digital, and Distance Education from Athabasca University.
