Northland School Division

Hello Families! 

As you begin planning for the new school year, we wanted to remind you about the School Bus Registration process and our new bus app StopFinder!

School Bus Registration

All students riding Northland School Division Buses are required to be registered before they will be permitted to ride the School Bus. Register early to avoid delays.  

This includes all students that attend the following schools:

• Mistassiniy School: (Gr. 10-12) from Sandy Lake (Gr. 7-12).
• Career Pathways School: (Gr. 10-12) from Sandy Lake (Gr. 10-12).
• Cold Lake Middle School: (Gr. 9) from Elizabeth (Gr. 9) and Fishing Lake (Gr. 9). 
• Cold Lake High School: (Gr. 10-12) from Elizabeth (Gr. 10-12) and Fishing Lake (Gr. 10-12). 
• Cold Lake Outreach: (Gr. 10-12) from Elizabeth (Gr. 10-12) and Fishing Lake (Gr. 10-12). 
• Assumption Jr/Sr High: (Gr. 9-12) from Elizabeth (Gr. 9-12).

To register your child or children for the School Bus, email schoolbus@nsd61.ca. Please include your child's or children's name and grade.

StopFinder Bus App and Bus Status

We encourage parents and guardians to register for our new bus app StopFinder. The engagement app allows parents and guardians to see their children’s bus schedules in real-time and receive bus cancellations or changes immediately on a phone or tablet. Click here for further instructions. 

StopFinder will work alongside the Bus Status available on the NSD website www.nsd61.ca/departments/transportation/bus-status.
