Regional Spelling Bee 2016

On April 27, 2016, St. Theresa School in Wabasca-Desmarais became the epicenter for competitive spelling in northern Alberta. Students, parents, staff and community members packed the school's gymnasium to watch students from Wabasca, Chipewyan Lake, Peerless Lake and Fort Chipewyan participate in Northland School Division's Regional Spelling Bee. Over 60 students qualified for the regional event after placing 1st or 2nd place in local competitions.
