NSD mourning loss of former staff member

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of a former member of the Northland School Division (NSD) family, Laura Collins. Laura, who retired a few years ago, passed away on Friday, April 12th.
Laura dedicated 24 years to Northland as the Cree Language Instructor at Elizabeth School. Her passionate focus on educating students about the Cree language and the Métis culture has left a lasting impact on students.
The loss of Laura is felt deeply, not only by her immediate family but also by the entire Northland School Division family.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Laura’s family, friends, and all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed.
