Posted on January 25
On Monday, January 21, 2019, NSD staff met with Elder Bob Cardinal and Dr. Dwayne Donald, University of Alberta to discuss a balanced calendar concept.
On September 21, 2018, the Board of Trustees directed the superintendent to explore and develop a plan, for the Board’s consideration, learning calendar and learning program which includes community engagement and that reflects and honours Indigenous Ways of Knowing and Ways of Being.
Thank you Elder Bob Cardinal & Dr. Dwayne Donald for sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support NSD’s balanced calendar concept planning.
