Minister of Education visits Little Buffalo School

It wasn't your typical morning at Little Buffalo School on September 30th. That's because Minister of Education David Eggen came to visit students, staff, parents and community members on Orange Shirt Day. Eggen arrived to a sea of students at the front entrance; waiting anxiously to shake his hand and use their photography skills to capture the moment. After receiving an unforgettable welcome from students and staff, Eggen visited each classroom and saw a Cree Language class and literacy related lessons in action.
The visit continued into the gymnasium, where Eggen observed Robert Cardinal and students performing the Honour Song and presenting information about the school's literacy program. Following both presentations, Eggen thanked the school for such a wonderful visit and presented students with brand new books!
