Northland School Division

Alberta Education is holding community conversations to develop guiding principles for an amended Northland School Division Act. To support attendance, there will be events in five communities within Northland School Division. Meals will be provided. Click here for more details.

The sessions will be facilitated by Alberta Education and involve a group discussion.

Alberta Education will provide transportation to parents and guardians, students, staff, Local School Board Committee members and community members from outside communities via coach or bus. A chartered flight has been reserved for Fort Chipewyan residents. Please see below for pickup times and itinerary information.

• Fort Chipewyan – drive to airport – flight leaves at 7:30 a.m. from Fort Chipewyan landing in Fort McMurray at 8:30 a.m.
• Coach will pick you up at the airport at 8:45 a.m. and take you to Bill Woodward School in Anzac.  (If you are planning to attend we have chartered a 9 passenger flight, RSVP Melanie Mantai before March 10, 2015 so that a seat can be secured for you on this flight)
• Depart at 2:00 p.m. by coach to Fort McMurray Aviation and catch flight to Fort Chipewyan at 4:00 p.m. and return home
