Dr. Mary Jackson School student's artwork showcased at Alberta Rural Education Symposium
Posted on March 6
A Dr. Mary Jackson School student is having his art work showcased at the Alberta Rural Education Symposium March 5th - 7th! Layton Bachelor, who's in grade 9, designed an art piece that incorporates the symposium's art gallery theme for 2016-2017 "Truth and Reconciliation through the Eyes of Alberta Youth." This theme presented an opportunity for students to explain what the nation-wide commitment to Truth and Reconciliation means to them. In the picture, you can see Northland School Division Superintendent of Schools Gord Atkinson showcasing Layton's artwork! Congratulations Layton!
