Career Pathways School Graduation 2014

Career Pathways School capped off a strong 2013-2014 school year celebrating the graduating class of 2014 on August 30, 2014!
Nine students received high school diplomas and eagle feathers in front of fellow students, parents, Elders and community members at the beautifully decorated Wabasca-Desmarais Community Hall. Gerald Auger, a well-known actor, producer, director, writer and motivational speaker, was Master of Ceremonies for the evening; guest speakers included Don Tessier, Northland School Division Associate Superintendent, Christoph Ruge, Career Pathways School Principal, Angela Bigstone, Career Pathways School Teacher and Winston Manossa, Bigstone Cree Nation Councillor. The evening also featured a grand entry which saw graduates in dazzling suits and elegant dresses, a delicious feast with graduation cake and a slide show. The celebration concluded with a final dance by graduates and their escorts.
