Amy Savill appointed Director of Engagement and High School Completion

Northland School Division is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Savill as the new Director of Engagement and High School Completion, effective August 12, 2024. Before this appointment, Savill served as Principal at Anzac School and Bill Woodward School.
“Amy is an exceptional leader who consistently goes above and beyond to support student success here at Northland School Division,” said Cal Johnson, Superintendent of Schools/CEO. “Given her experience and proven dedication, I am confident that she will strengthen our focus to engage students, paving the way for increased high school completion rates.”
Amy has been a part of the Northland School Division family since her initial days as a student teacher at Bishop Routhier School in 2008. Following her student teaching, she joined Gift Lake School as an elementary and junior high teacher. In 2010, Amy became a member of the Anzac Community School - Bill Woodward School team, where she served as a teacher and administrator for 14 years.
Amy completed a Master of Education program at the University of Calgary, specializing in educational leadership, further enhancing her expertise. She also holds a Bachelor of Science from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta.
