Remembrance Day events at Northland schools

In recognition of Remembrance Day, Northland schools will honour, celebrate and remember and thank all those who have served and are currently serving Canada in times of war, military conflict and peacekeeping missions.
Susa Creek School: The school is hosting a Remembrance Day ceremony. A representative from the Grande Cache Legion will be attending and telling the war stories to students. A short video presentation will also be played before the laying of the wreath.

Anzac Community School and Bill Woodward School: A ceremony is scheduled to take place in the Anzac Community School gymnasium.
Gift Lake School: The school is hosting a ceremony at 1:00 p.m. in the gymnasium.
November 8, 2019
Elizabeth School: The school invites all community members to attend a ceremony at 10:30 a.m. If you would like to bring a wreath to lay in honour, or on behalf, please bring the wreath at 10:20 a.m. This will help ensure all the wreaths are laid.
Mistassiniy School: The school is hosting a ceremony starting at 11:00 a.m.
Paddle Prairie School: The school is hosting a ceremony starting at 10:30 a.m.
Pelican Mountain School: The school is hosting a ceremony starting at 10:30 a.m.
Susa Creek School: The school is hosting a Remembrance Day ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Students and staff will have a moment of silence at 11:00 a.m. A representative from the Grande Cache Legion will be attending and telling the war stories to students.
