Indigenous Language Instructors continue to build capacity with strengthening language and culture
Posted on March 2
Indigenous Language Instructors for NSD and Kee Tas Kee Now Tribal Council Education Authority participated in professional learning at the Executive Royal Hotel West Edmonton this week. The workshop is an example of what NSD and KTCEA are doing to build capacity and to strengthen language and culture in the school communities we serve.
On Monday, the Indigenous Language Instructors continued working on long-range plans and learning how to use Google Drive to enhance classroom instruction and collaboration with students and staff.
The instructors worked on unit plans on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was a pleasure to have educators from Calgary Board of Education and Sturgeon Lake First Nation Official join us!
