Former Official Trustee Lois Byers recognized by NSD Board of Trustees and staff

Lois Byers presented with a Mythical Guild of Mighty Moose Skinners membership!
On Thursday, October 26th, the NSD Board of Trustees were sworn in during the Organizational Meeting. The ceremony marked the end of Lois Byers' tenure as Official Trustee with NSD. The new Board of Trustees and staff showed their appreciation to Lois for her efforts to return NSD to a locally elected board.
Superintendent of Schools Gord Atkinson presented a couple of NSD service awards to Lois. The first award is to certify that Lois Byers, having served the fabulous, frantic and frost bitten NSD is hereby accepted as a members of the Mythical Guild of Mighty Moose Skinners. The division also honoured Byers by having her name engraved on the NSD Chairperson and Official Trustee History plaque.
During the October 26th Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees approved Lois to continue as a consultant to support and guide the Board and Superintendent in their duties. Thank you Lois for everything you do to help NSD move forward!
