Additional Information:

Northland School Division is seeking to fill the position of Head Cook for the Elizabeth School Lunch Program. The successful candidate will work as part of a school team in the Elizabeth Métis Settlement.  This position is 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, and will report to the school principal. 

Key Responsibilities

• A service-oriented attitude and a passion for working with school aged children
• Preparation of lunches according to the menu
• Serving lunches
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the commercial kitchen
• Placing and receiving grocery orders and inventory control
• Completing all required paperwork in a timely manner
• Adhering to cleaning/sanitizing protocols as determined by the Operations Manager and the school division

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience
• A recognized Food Safety Course is considered an asset

The salary for this position is based on qualifications and experience.  A comprehensive benefit package is also provided.
